The Government has purchased larg© quantities of best quality, and there is only inferior quality for sale at market. Chilled beef is in good demand. Hinds 8d; fores 6Jd. Butter. —The market is firm, at last advance. Danish (in fair demand), 154/ to 156/; New Zealand (prices firm), 140/ to 144/; Australian, 134/ to 138/; Siberian, 132/ to 134/; flrisli creameries, 140/ to 142/; Argentine, 134/ to 138/.
