The Governor has receiver] the following cablegram from the Secretary of State for the Colonies: "With reference to your message ot May 2, I am informed that lists of wounded who have arrived in Egypt ar=: despatched daily when cheeked. No losses of those killed in action, excej>t officers, had reached Egypt on May G. Lists of wounded arc not cabled fros the front, owing to difficulties, but- are made on the arrival of the ships." The Governor referred to this matter when speaking at the Orphans' Club last night. "I am afraid it will be some time before we receive the list of those killed at the Dardanelles," he remarked.
