LONDON REVUE COMPANT. .TOWN HALL, SATURDAY. The above Company opens its season of one night at the Town Hnll on Saturday next, May Bth, under the direction of Amusements Ltd The Company has an exeolelnt reputation as laughterproducers. All the members are stars in their particular line. The Revue, ' 1 Lord ofr a Night,” is absolutely cue of the funniest burlesques that has j ever been staged. The scenery is a i special item in the Revue. Th opening scene is the exterior of the Savoy Cafe, London. The next scone is Falcon Inn at midnight, including the grand .trans- j formation scene, “The Garden of Flow- i vrs. ” The Company is 35 strong, and includes seven meinobrs in the orchestra. It is safe to say that a record house will greet the Company on Saturday evening next. NICHOLLS PICTURES. A GREAT SUCCESS. A full house greeted the change of I -programme at the Station Street Theatre last* night. Th e applause w r as frequent, and it Is quite correct to say the .picture “Romance of the Sawdust” was about the best circus picture screened. The other star also came In for marked appreciation. This fine programme wifi be repeated to-riight. At the Three Stars an entire change takes place to-night, in which a fine Vitagrapli star is the cjhief attraction. The plcrure is entitled: “Her Husband,” and it is a story that stirs the emotions and appeals to the hearfipoignant, clever and Vivid. It is a study of intense ’human interest and deep, intelligent sympathy into the life of a noble girl wjho married romantically. In “Mabel’s Blunder,” Miss Mabel Normand will be featured. “In the Nick •of Time,” is a great railway picture, and these, together with War Gazettes, Keystone Comics and Scen'ics, an excellent programme is provided. r ~
TOWN HALL PICTURES. NEW PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT. An entire change of programme will be unreeled to-night at the Town Hall, The great star picture, on© secured at greiat cost, is “Forbidden to Love,” principally showing how a father’s hate killed a daughter's love. In this picture is a most realistic and startling fire scene, which is acknowledged to be one of the most perfect fire scenes yet photographed. The picture is an intensely human one, well acted, and it is to appeal strongly to all patrons. It simply grips from start to finish. In addition to this there is a more than ordinarily interesting war budget, scenics and comics, making up an erceedingly interesting and beautiful programme.
