A meeting of the committee of the Taihape Golf Club was held at Era's Hotel on Wednesday night, the following' being present: Messrs Bray .(.chair), Wakeman, Train, McLamghlan, Beban and T. Ryan (secretapr.) •i The President intimated that he \Wild donate a trophy for a monthlyhandicap stroke competition which would have to be won twice in succession before becoming the property of any member. It 'was decided that the president's trophy and a stroke competition be played this week.. " - : ' Messrs Bray, Neagle and Ryan were elected a handicapping committee, and it was resolved that the handicaps be revised every month and that for the first month new players' handicap. be -■fixed with a limit of 54. Each Thursday players on the links will draw for partners at about 1.30.
