We held our usual fortnightly sale ■ of wool, skins, hides and tallow this afternoon, when we offered a large - catalogue of all lines to a representative attendance of buyers. Competition was keen throughout, prices for wool being on a par with those ruling at last sales. Heavy ox hides were also very' firm at late rates, but light hides and cow hides were slightly easier as also were sheepskins and tallow. At ou r Feilding sale on Friday, 16tli April, we have to report an exceptionally good entry of both sheep and cattle. While there was a good demand for good breeding ewes and forward! wethers and lambs in good medium '/amite and low', i .cjond*tionedl ewes showed a decided drop, and a number of pon s of this class wer© turned out unsold. All lines of cattle met with a ready sale, and practically ■Small mixed lambs 7/4 to 7/8; cull every pen changed hands.
