ENTERTAINMENTS.

TOWN HALL PICTURES. To-morrow evening (Wjadnesday) the great moving picture masterpiece “Judith of Bethulia” will be screened for the opening of the Town Hall as a picture theatre. This film cost upwards of £45,000 to produce; its beautiful senes and -stirring incidents are almost beyond comprehension,so much so that they fill one with wonderment and admiration. Great pains have been taken in representing the manner of battle in ancient times, bug's portable fightig towers, battering rams and catapults being used just as in the misty day s of the past. Battle chariots and thousands of mounted and foot soldiery figure in most realistic charges. This is without al| doubt one of the finest pictures in existence and no-cyAv should miss seeing it, eve a if only- fSkits ancient history value.
