MONTHLY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting ol , above Society was held in thje Nun Room on Friday, April 9th. Prese Mesdames Stud'holm© (chair), C ham, de Lautour, Timbs, Soiuervi McCormick, James and the Secy-eta Nur&(3 Jones reported that th were now r 64 cases on the books which, seven are new cases. She p 142 visits to homes and fjacoived visitors at the office. It was resolved to visit Hun tor r on Tuesday, 13th inst., in order form a sub-branch of the Society tin Final arrangements w(er e made, holding a Garden Party at the ffia* tary’s (Mrs Arrowsmith) ground, Thursday, 15th inst, the money <joll< ed to go towards buying material infants’ clothes to be sent to Lon< to relieve the distress among wives and widows of soldiers and s ors §t the front. It was resolved ask all those who were willing to s to make two garments a month out the material - thus obtainjed. It was resolved to hold the general meeting on the 15th inst. 8 p.m. in the Supper Room, To Hall.
