WEDDING BELLS.
BREMNER—GOVVDY. A pretty wedding took place at St. Margaret's, Taihape, on Wednesday, March 24th, when Miss Minnie Gowdy, eldest daughter of Mr and Mr s Harry !Gowdy, of Pin e Grove, Rangawaea, was married to Mr William Bremner, youngest son of the late Mr J. Bremner, of Aldunie, Ruanui, and Mrs I Bremner, of the Terrace, Taihape. The service was fully choral, Mr Henrichs at the ongan. The church had been prettily decorated, and the Rev. W. F Stent officiated. The bride, who was (given away by ker father, wore a (graceful frock of cream silk voile draped with shadow lace, and the customary veil and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of ros'es and swieet peas. There were three bridesmaids: Miss Dora Gowdy (chief) and two little tots, Missies Elsie Gowdy and Kathleen Ford, who all wore dainty frocks of white embroidered voile and carried bouqets of pink flowers. Mr Alex. Bremner acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception wag held in the Parish Hall, when the usual toasts were honoured. Later tha happy pair received a hearty send-off at the station, prior to leaving for tha South on their weddnig trip.
