May 150 3-8 to 1551 duly 119 7-S to 123 5-8. WELLINGTON WOOL SALES. } WELLINGTON ,March 24. To day the last sale of the season was held, when about 2100 bales were offered. There was a good attendance of buyers, and competition was everything offered. Prices wer<P exceptionally high for all good fleece wool. The top price of the sale was 172 d for a line of 16 bales fine Romney in very light condition. This wool was solj on account of Messrs Condon Bros., of Hokitika, and constitutes a record lor New Zealand. Another line of Romney, sold on account cf. R. D. Kpight Longburn, realised 1,74 di. 1 Ofher prices were: Crossbrieds super 15d to 16d; crossbreds, medium. 13d f to 15^d; crossbreds, coarse 13d to * ■lsd; crossbreds, inferior and seedy lOd to 125 d; pieces and bellies, B*d ■ to lOl.d; lambs, medium, lid to I4d; lambs inferior and seedy, 7d to lid.
