The High Court rescinded the special leave to. appeal granted to the Commonwealth in connection with the wherein the Censor unsuccessfully proceeded against the Perth "Daily News" for publishing certain news relating to the deefnee of the Suez Canal . The Chief Justice said i'he only point in issue was, whether in the Police Magistrate's opinion the 3ase wa s decided against the weight \f evidence, and the High Court.granted special leave to appeal on the •rounds that the opinion of the Court below was against the weight of evi--lence. Other judges concurred.
