BULLYING A LITTLE FELLOW. THE COURT SEQUEL, Yesterday Win. Watson came to town with a mate of diminutive proportions, ana they had a few drinks together. During the afternoon Francis Henry Asliton annoyed Watson's mate by following him 'round town, ishton was asked to desist but refused, and then Watson made a similar request on behalf of his mate. Ashton became abusive and emitted a number of phrases not found in daily newspapers. Both parties came to blows and Constable McLeod happened along and took Watson and Ashton in charge. This morning Mr A. Crawford, J.P., heard two charges of using threatening behaviour. Each accused pleaded guilty; and Watson wa s fined £2 and' Ashton, whose police record extended back to 1903, was fined £5. Ashton was given a fortnight in which to find the money.
