A SERIOUS CHARGE.
AGAINST A POLITICIAN. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Bertram Dunn, the Reform candidate for Rieearton at last election, appeared in Court to-day charged with an attempt to procure abortion. He was remanded till Friday next, Bail £3OO (himself) and a surety of £3OO was allowed. The case is an outcome of evidence giv'an at the inquest on the death of ah illegitimate child last Monday.
