RIGHTS SOLD IN LONDON. WILL DISPLACE THE MAXIM. MELBOURNE, This Day. Advice s have been received that the “Caldwell” machine gun rights have been sold to a London firm for £55,000 and a royalty on all guns produced. Substantial orders are anticipated from the British Government. It is claimed that it is likely to displace the old maxim. The inventor is a Melbourne mechanic.
