CORRESPONDENCE.

(To the Editor). Dear Sir,—ln jour Saturday's issue a letter appeared, signed by Mr Arrow, smith, in which he stated a line of sheep had Ween left in the Taihape Saleyards, from Wdnesday to 10 a.m. on Saturday. In fairness to all parties concerned I wish to state that the sheep referred to were taken cut of the yards each day, by a drover, who fed them on the back roads and saw that they (got plenty or water. They could not be taken far away as it was not known when trucks would be available to send them tc their proper destination. If H'i.s Worship would devote more of his time and ability to the state of the Borough streets, whieh are a disgrace to any bush township, instead cf finding fault with other people, he would be less ljikely to com'e across "Mares' nests." —I am, etc., FACTS.
