BURGLARY AT TAOROA.

MR BUSHBY’S STORE ENTERED. The local police are engaged in an endeavour to ascertain the perpetrator of a burglary at Mr Thomas Bushby’s store at Taoroa. The store is many chains from the nearest house and is situated on the main road to Taoroa. Some time durinfg Saturday or Sunday ni;ghts the store was entered and a conglonieroiig stcok of groceries, boots and clothing was hurriedly sorted over. The burglar, or burglars, threw this major portion of the stock of footwear out the back door and left most of the stock of clothing. Inroads were made on the supply of groceries, although a portion' of the stock was left. The whole stock of tobacco was taken. In another column Mr Bushby offers a reward of £lO for information which will lead to the conviction of the burglar.
