A communique states that only half the regiment of the Fifth Indian Infantry at Singapore were implicated in the riot due to certain promotions in the Indian ranks en the regiments impending departure. COPENHAGEN HOTEL. DESTROYED BY FIRE. (Reed 9 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, March 4. . The Hotel D'Angleterre has been burnt and 200 guests narrowly escaped.
