TIMARU, This Day. The firfa brigades had another fine day for the contests, and there was a good attendance. Results: One Man Coupling (54 entries CScupied most of the forenccn). St. Kilda (Lifsut Duncan), 1 min. 23 2 : 5 sec. 1, South Dunedin (Morrison) 1.23 3-5 2, Timaru (Hunt) 1.24 3-5 3, Gore (Wallace) 1.25 3-5 4. Hose Reel and Ladder, five men.— Carterton 1.14 1-5 1, Hawera 1.15 1-5 2, Timaru Railway 1.16 3-5 3, St. Kilda 1.16 3-5 (including- 2 sec. penalty) 4. Timaru is leading in the uncoupled three men hose reel and hydrant. Timaru has won the Speight shield outright and the Manual shield, and has a good lead ficr the High Pressure shield. TIMARU, This Day. There were so many competitors in two events yesterday that "results were not known till four p.m. The unfinished event was completed this morning, with the following results: Hose and hydrant.—Hillside Railway 1, Timaru 2, Marton 3. Dunedin South, Dargaville, and Caversham were in the first rm, Hillside and Timaru tied. In the run off Hillside won.
