OBITUARY.
A MOAWHANGA RESIDENT. Mr James Smart Lindsay Piggott, of Moawhanga, who was recently working Mr Battley’s station there, died at Taihape yesterday. The deceased was for many years a resident of the Mcavvhanga district,.-where he was favourably well-known and respected, and his decease at the age of 35 years will come as a shock to his many friends. He leaves a young wife to mourn her loss, but has no family. A service over his remains will be hfeld in St; Margarets, Church of England, at fwo o’clock, and the funeral will leave the church for the Taihape cemetery at 2.15 to-morriw (Saturday) afternoon.
