It is doubtful whether much remains of five corps. It is certain that 150,000 were scattered. The Russians have been cleared out of Bukowina. All this, together with the results of operations in the waters around Britian, inspires confidence. RUSSIANS IN RETREAT. GRADUAL RETIREMENT FROM AUGUSTOVO. GERMANS REPULSED AT OTHER PLACES. ENEMY LOSE HEAVILY. The Premier has received the following from the High Commissioner : LONDON, Feb. 20. BEFORE IMMENSELY STRONGER FORCE. The Daily Mail's correspondent says the Russian armies state that 175,000 in East Prussia retired in good order before 400,000 Germans. There was heavy rearguard fighting. The Russians are concentrating in the Augustovo forest region, while the Germans are concentratinfi towards Novogeorgevia, obviously to assail Warsaw west and north, or to cut the railway whereon Warsaw depends.
