HIDE AND SKIN REPORT. Messrs Dal get y and Company, Limited, report as under: We held another very satisfactory fortnightly sale of skins, hides, talIqw and oddments to-day, when we submitted a large catalogue of all descriptions to a full bench of buyers. Bidding was keen, and as shown by the range cf prices orders must be istill plentiful lor skins and hides, when the high prices of last sale were pushed still further ahead by to-day’s acution. For fine and medium crossbred sheepskins .\d per lb about denotes the rise, whilst hides cf all weights and sound advanced 3-8 d and in some eases fd per lb. Tallow is now feeling the rising market with, satisfactory results. We got 10?.d for three lines cf heavy ox. hides. Clients: are reminded that March sth is the* date cf our next offering.
