WANGANUI EDUCATION BOARD.
The Wangnnui Board of Education met on Wednesday night. Present: Messrs. Fred Pirani (chairman), \V. Bruce, F. Purnell, D. H. Guthrie, G. H. Bennett, A. Fraser. RESIGNATIONS. The following resignations were received: —C. Kelling, second assistant, Utiku; L. E. Beeve, second assistant, Hawera Side; H. Priestly, first assistant, Linton; E. Goldsbury, solo teacher, Mangara. APPOINTMENTS. The following appointments were confirmed:—Baumai, L. Pemberton, assistant; Baetihi, A. S. Payne, second assistant; Umutoi, M. G. Carrie, sole teacher; Taihapo. E. D. MacEac, third assistant. MISCELLANEOUS. Improvements at the Raetihi school, costing £14(3, were authorised, also repairs at Kaitoke school.
