ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) EKETAHUXA, This Day. * r J he annual Provincial Conference of Oddfellows, M.l ~ concluded its deliberations last evening. Bevies were fixed the same as last year. The secretary’s salary was increased £l3 per annum. The officers elected were as follows: Prow Grand Master, Bro. J. S. Will; Deputy G.M., Bro. G. M. Salek; Relieving Officer, Bro. W. H. Modcly; Editor and Book-keeper, Bro. A. Perrin; Management Committee, Bro. Clark, P.G.; W. G. French. P.G.; D. C, Holmes, P.G.; A. J. Ibbotson, P.P.G.M; G. Perrin, P.P.G.M,

DISTRICT MEETING, - EKETAHUNA. This Day. At the Oddfellows’ annual District Meeting a resolution was carried protesting against the railway accommodation provided for the delegates. The Arbitration Committee appointed were Messrs Guy, Pei Tin, Popple, Salek, Guise, Ibbotson, Read, Holmes, O'Sullivan, Madely, Bennett, and Carke. ( The next annual! meeting of the Wellington Antipodal! Lodge was fixed! fcr February, 1916. Purple lectures and past officers’ degrees were left: in the hands -of the District Management Committee, which was also authorised to prepare a draft of a- special district rule, and submit it to the next conference. . A resolution of the Conference with respect to receiving any assistance from the Government towards the cost of reinsuring funeral benefits to members of the Expeditionary Force and uniform book-keeping were referred to the Board of Directors for the system for the whole of New Zealand. Provision for the Central fund to maintain members while in ]- - pital was referred to the District ■ agement Committee to report at n t conference. Delegates were etained last night by the local lodge*.
