UPPER WANGAEHU ROAD BOARD.

-a MONTHLY MEETING

The first monthly meeting cf the Wangaehu Read Beard for 1915 was held in the Secretary's office this morning. Present: Messrs 1-1. Collier (chair), D. Addis, J. McHardy, P. Pedersen, and T. W. Williams. correspondence; A letter was received fro mthe Mataroa Public Cemetery Trustee asking the Beard to insert a couple of culverts to facilitate"access. —Decided to have the work dene under the supervision of the foreman. FINANCIAL. Accounts amounting to £2lB 10s 5d were passed for payment. , GENERAL. It was decided to invite tenders for quarrying about IiOO yards cf shell rock ca Up Wairuhu? Read, and also for quarrying about GO yards on the Kaimataiwi. The Ruanui Road is to be closed for traffic on Tuesday and Wednesday, 9th and 10th inst., on account cf papa burning. The foreman's report was read and adopted
