The Morning Post's Petrograd correspondent states that the Germans on Sunday made a'temporary success in the country in the State of BarjimoiT, whore they have lost tens of thousands since December 22nd. This is the result of the system of sending ten companies to certain annihilation in tne hope that the eleventh may succeed. When the system failed, the Germans tried sapping. Early .on Sunday morning they concentrated all their artillery between Scklaezow and Bolimov before two miles of trenches at Boiojimoff, where 0000 Germans were hilled during the previous week. A hurricane of fire enabled them to rush thfl trenches. The Russians brought up ad ditional artillery. A series of bayonet charges later on Sunday recaptured practically the whole of the two miles. The German losses were appallirg.. COPENHAGEN. Feb. 3. One hundred and thirty seven Prussian lists contain 926,5+7 casualties, including the following: 141,000 Bavarians, 100,000 Saxons, 104,000 Wurtembergers. Fifteen navy lists have also been published.
