The German .official version of the naval battle states that tine British broke off the engagement 70 miles from Heligoland and retreated, losing a battle cruiser. It admits that the Blucher was sunk. BERLIN OFFICIAL ACCOUNT. BLUCHER NOT RETURNED. (Reed. 11.10 a.m.) BERLIN, Jan. 25. The German Admiralty states that four German cruisers and two torpedo flotillas were attacked by four battle cruisers of the British, Including 2G destroyers. The fight lasted three hours. All except the Blucher returned to harbour.
