PLUNKET NURSE SOCIETY.
MONTHLY MEETING. • The regular monthly meeting of the Phmket Nurse Society was held in the Nurses' Room, at the Town on Tuesday afternoon. Present: Mes'ddiu* es Studholme (in the chair), Oldhpm, Emerson, Timbs, Barnett, James, and Arrowsmith. It was unanimously resolved that the Society have a “rest tent” for mothers, on the ground at the Eangitikei Agricultural and Pastoral Show, on the 24th February, where mothers with their young children can rest and shelter during the day. The Plunket Nurse will be in attendance, and there will be full conveniences for making or beating infants food, as well as many ether conveniences mothers with infants need cn such occasions. A very small charge will be made for the use of the tent. In view of the many demands' and "•alls made oiTthe public just now the -mnniittee decided to postpone their flower show till the autumn. An annual subscription was received, luring the month, from Mrs .Hurley.
