RAILWAY STAFF CHANGES.

WELLINGTON, Jan. 16. The following changes in the Railway staff have been announced: —Mr. Waite, district tratiic manage)-,. Dunelin, appointed to be Commercial Agent t Wellington. Mr Bowles, district raffic manager, Auckland', succeeds ■I- Waite at Dunedin. The distric' raffic manager at Wellington succeed' Mr Bowles. Mr Bevin, district t ratio manager, Greymouth, gees-.to Dun'din. Mr Mellor, goods- agent, Well'ngtcn, succeeds Mr Bevin. Mr Bean, stationmaster, rime,vu.,;i appointed ste'tionmaster- p,t Lyttelton. Mr Spindler, stationmaster at Marten, who succeeds.Mr Bean at Timaru, will be replaced by Mr Petrie -hief clerk, Marten. Other appoint•nents are: Assistant traffic manager Auckland, O'Loughten, to be scodf -•gent, Auckland. Pedler, traffic inspector, Invercargill, replaces Falls. The position of asst. treiffic manager, Dunedin, will be filled by Harris, chief clerk to district manager, Dunedin. Edwards, stationmaster, Nelson, who is retiring on superannuation, will be succeeded by Pepperell, stationmaster, Gisborne. Boswell, Oamaru, replaces Pepperell.
