A BAILIFF’S EMBEZZLEMENT.

STRATFORD, This Day. F. M. Marlow, ex-bailiff, of Stratford, who disapeared on 25th September last, and who was arrested at Rangicra a few days ago, pleaded guilty before the Stipendiary Magistrate today to two charges of absconding with moneys amounting to £72, collected by him on distress warrants. He was remanded to the Supreme Court for sentence.
