LIFEBUOY AND WRECKAGE. Press Association —Copyright. (Rec. 12.1 t) p.m.) OTTAWA, Jan. 12. Private advices, unconfirmed, state that the Karlsruhe was sunk in a fight by the British off Grenada. A lifebuoy, marked “Karlsruhe,” was found on shore with much wreckage. Residents of Grenada report witnessing the battle, which took place a great distance seawards.
