•(To the Editor.) Sir, —I see by our Evening Post that yea have diphtheria in your town. Now Sir, I feel it my duty to inform anyone with such a plague, to let them know how to cure it. I have known hundreds of cases cured by the recipe I am going to give you, which is as follows: —1 teaspoonful strong sul-. phuric acid, 1 grain quinine in 1 pint of water; dose: take a teaspoonful about every two hours, gargle the throat and then swallow the stuff. I may say that I aways keep the stuff ready and people comte from all directions for it. —I am., etc., W. PRINCE. 69 Tiber St., Island Bay, Wellington. [Should any of our readers decide to try our correspondent's recipe we would advise them to have it dispensed by a chemist, or to get it direct from Mr. Prince, who, we* may say, has a reputation for' Supplying his diptheria remedy free.of charge. Th« utmost care is necessary owing the extreme virulent nature of tnTr* drug used. If some spoons are usee"; a chemical reaction might result": in serious consequences.—Editor, T.D.T.]
