VALEDICTORY
MR. M. O. MEADOWS. The staffs of the local picture theatres on Saturday- night tendered the pianist, Mr. M. 0. Meadows, a valedicitory banquet. ' Mr. Meadows, who has been pianist at the Three Stars Theatre for some eighteen months, is leaving the district to join +he garrison force destined for Samba. Mr. A. 0. Nichols, on behalf of the staff, presented Mr. Meadows with, ft, smokers’ outfit, and feelingly spoke of the sterling capabilities and the regret with which cne and all would part with the recipient, who suitably responded. , - . Mr, Meadows leaves for Trentham to-hlorrow.
