KEIR HARDIE ILL

SLIGHT PARALYSIS, LONDON, Jan. 9. Mr. Keiv Harclie is suffering from slight paralysis, but is improving. Another message states that Mr. Keir Hardie’s condition is critical. IMPERIAL CONFERENCE TO BE HELD AFTER WAR. LONDON, Jan. 9. Reuter states that none of the Dominion Governments has asked for an Imperial Conference to be held in 1915. The Imperial Government, at the outset of the war, intimated that a conference would be impracticable in such distracting circumstances. This view is now repeated in consequence of statements in the press that the Hon. A. Fisher, Prime Minister of Australia, favoured a meeting. The Imperial Government ha snot heard (beyond the suggestion attributed to Mr. Fisher) any desire from the Dominions not to adhere to the original proposal postponing the Conference until after the- war.
