(Reed. 3 p.m.) PETROGRAD, Jan. 10. i A levy of recruits for 1015 numbering 585,000 is being called up. Official.—-The fighting along the Buk-ha-Moghilev front on the left bank of the Vistula is increasingly fiercer, The Germans, notwithstanding their heavy losses, are stubbornly attacking different points. The enemy captured some advanced trenches, which our vigorous counter-attacks, usually with the bayonet, forced them to relinguish. We occupied Kimptoloung on the 6th, and continually fighting in Bukovina during the last week, have ’covered 120 versts (80 miles), and reached the mountain range dividing Bukovina and Hungary. We captured 1000 Austrians and much booty. TURKS RESUME VIGOROUS OFFENSIVE. TO COVER DEPLORABLE RETREAT. (Reed, 3 p.m.) PETROGRAD, Jan. 10. Official.—The Turks resumed a vigorous offensive in the Karauteam region, apparently in order to relieve' the deplorable condition of the remnants of the Tenth Army Corps, who are retiring precipitately from Sary Kamish. There is nothing to report elsewhere in the Caucasus.
