A meeting of the committee 1 of the faihape Athletic Club was held :,in the ccietary's office last night for the purose of clearing up picnic affairs. °resent: Messrs C. L. Dymock (chair), .". Expenditure— Pities, £37 8/; toys, £18; sundries. £23 19/; total, £79 7/. Tbid leaves a balance of £4O, of which ju*.''£oes to the Taihape Band and will be donated by that body to a relief fund. The remainder will be -livided by th« Club equally between the 'ldea! reMet fund and the Belgian Relief Fund. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded those outside the committee who rendered assistance during th<» gala.
