mmgjjfPm THE AVAILABLE SHIPPING SPACE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 6. An estimate made by shipping firms here show that steamers are available in January and February with refrigerating’ space for 1,001,000 carcasses. Deducting 459,000 required for dairy pioduce the space available for meats is 1,142,000. The shipments during the same two months of last year were : £1,228,000, leaving a deficiency of £BO,OOO, but in consequence of the strike there was a rush of oxporti* ing at the beginning of 1914. The deduction is therefore of verv little difference this year, not amounting to more than one ship. - -“-‘fit
