EFFORT TO PROHIBIT. (Rec. 1 p„m.). WASHINGTON, Jan. 4. German and other delegations appealed to the House Foreign Relations Committee to urge prohibition of thy export of war supplies to Europe on the ground that Germany's enemies were alone benefiting, owing to the power of the British fleet.
