BY WRECK SALVERS', j (Reed. 9.5 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Jan. 4. Six men, while salving a wrecked steamer cn the ninety-mile beach, had some exciting experiences. Rough weather washed their food and water overboard. Prom Wednesday to Friday they were washed by waves breaking over them, with nothing to eat or. drink. Then the steamer broke dp and all drifted ashore after a terrible struggle., badly bruised and more dead than alive from exposure.
