WELLINGTON RESOLUTION
WELLINGTON, December 7
A public meeting held here last night passed resolutions expressing satisfaction with the action of the last Parliament in defending the national schools from clerical domination, and reminding electors that if proposals of the Bible in Schools League were adopted justice demand: that denominational grants be made to. those churches which cannot accept the league’s scheme.
