| At my monthly sale on Tuesday, Tso- ' vembQr 24th, I submitted an extra : huge amount to a full attendance of i bU Th"'catalogue comprised:—One hundred and twenty-five bales and 254 '"sacks wool, 2,980 sheepskins, 21 casks Mid 76 tins of tallow, 1,015 hides, 3/71 f calfskins, and the usual sundries. Coni--1 petition was very keen, and I have to I report a very successful sale. Fleece wool advanced ljd to 2d per lb. on last •November rates, and clean lengthy wool was eagerly sought after. Crutchiugs advanced 3d to -Jd per lb. Sheepskins: Firm to id per lb. -higher. % Tallow: Advanced Gd to 1/ per cwt. : " Hides: Firm at late rates. Calfskins: Declined id to per lb.

Calfskins: Specials 12d to 13d per lb., first llfd to 12§d, seconds lOfd to llfd, very small B|d to meaty ;83d :to 9d, cut 7d to 10|d j slippy 6d, dry 1/1 each. Bones £5 per ton.

Horsehair 1/ to 1/9 per lb., cowtails 1/4 per dozen, eow slippings Id per lb.

LONDON WOOL SALE.

Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London office, under date of 25th inst.: —"Merino Tops are lower but crossbreds are dearer. Quotations: 64's to 30d, 56's 27Jd 46's 22d, 40's (prepared) 19Jd."
