" FOR VALOUR." uIEUT. DIMMER AND THE KAISER'S PRIDE. (ReceiVed 12.40 p.m.) PARIS, November 22. Lieut. Dimmer, who has been awardad thß V.G., commanded four maxims. He was ordered to cheek the Prussian Guards- whose attack was supported by i \ hail of shells which dismantled three of the maxims. Dimmer often nearly fainted from shrapnel wounds. A comrade gavej him brandy. The Germans advancing in close order were mown down in whole rows. All of Dimmer's comrades were killed. He swallowed the rest of the brandy and emptied three belts of 300 cartridges each before he fell unconscious, The Germans, .completely decimated, tied and Euglish soldiers nicked up Dimmer after the mattle. TURKISH BLACK SEA FLEET. BOMBARDMENT OF RUSSIAN PORT. BLACK SEA COAST MINED. PETROGRAD, November 22. Oflic-ail. —Advices from the Caucasus state that the Mamiclieh and several destroyers bombarded Tuapse. Several Russians were killed and wounded. It is now announced that the Russian coasts of the Blade Sea have been mined for GO miles seawards, in many places.
