APPEAL COURT. WELLINGTON, November 20. The Court of Appeal this morning gave judgment, refusing leave to appeal to the Privy Council, in the case .the Ridd Milking Machine Co., Ltd., v. the Simplex Milking Machine Co., Ltd., Five guinea!-: eosis were allowed the defendants. POISONED BY FLY-KILLER. CHRISTCHUIIOI-l, November 20. A twc-year-cld child of G. 11. [-lollls of Luxfcrd Strop!, died mis morning under jcragic circumstances. Last evening she was round lying unconscious on the floor at home, with a tin containing a patent fly-killer beside her. It is presumed that she ate some of the contents. Excursion tickets for the Auckland Show will be isned from Palmcrston, r Piriaka, and intermediate stations on | November 24th and 25th, and from Taumarunui, Rukuhia and intermediate .stations on the 25th, 2(sth and 27th., all available for return till December sth.
