WELLINGTON HIDE AND SKIN SALE. At Dalgety and So.’s usual fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides, and tallow a good catalogue was offered to a full attendance of buyers. Competition was keen throughout and prices for all lines were firm at last sales’ rates. Sheepskins.—Half-bred to Old; fine crossbred, 93d; medium to coarse crossbred, 7Ad to 9Ad; short to A-wools ■id to 7d; dead goad damaged crossbreds, G to 7Ad/lambs, 4d to 73d; damp, green, 3.c Id to Ss 9d; pelts, Is 8d to 2s ! 3d;. Hides. —Ox, heavy, GOlbs up, 9 l-8d; ox, medium, 8 5-Sd; ox, light, 8 5-8 d; cow, heavy, 551hs and over, BAd; cow, medium, 8 3-8 d; cow, light, under 421bs, 8 5-Scl; bull, stag, 5 l-8d; yearlings, 9 7-8 d; calf, superior, 12 5-8 d; calf, medium to good, 11 7-Sd; calf, damaged, 10 7-Bd. Tallow.—Casks, 22s Gd to 23s 3d; tins, 12s to 20s. Sundries. —Rabbit skins, BAd; horse hair to Is 4d; cow tails, Is Gd. LONDON WOOL SALES. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London office: At the wool sales a total of 44,000 bales was catalogued; 37,500 wore bought by the Home trade, 3300 were not offered, and 3200 were withdrawn from sale. THE EEILDiNG SALES. Dalgety and Co. report having a small entry of shorn and a good yarding of cattle at their Eeildmg sale: Ewes with iambs 20s 9d to 25s 10d, mixed hoggets' 17s to 17s sd, mixed twe-tooths to IGs sd. Cattle: Backward springing ccws £3 15s Gd to C 4 ss, springing heifers £4, empty heifers £3 9s, 15-month heifers £2 19s, yearling heifers £1 11s, £1 12s Gd, yearling steers £1 11s, £2 3s Gd, £2 steers £3 13s Gd, empty cows £3 Is 11s, two-year steers £5 4s, 15-month to £4, fat cows £6, bulls £3 5s to £8 Bs.
