SCENE AT THE COUNCIL MEETING. At tho Municipal Council meeting on Tuesday last, after tho minutes had been read and confirmed, a discussion took place as to the advisability of excluding tho representative of the Samoa Times from tho mooting 3 of the Council, on account of tho insulting remarks made in that paper concerning the sayings and doings of some of the members at Municipal meetings. Grevsmuhl, Osenhrueg, nnd Edwards, that formerly, when Mr. Cusack owuod tho paper, its tone had been much more insulting towards him than it -was now towards thoso gentlomen who felt aggrieved, nnd, he told thoni, that if the bounds of fair criticism wore exceeded, there was always a remedy jn tho shape of on action at law.

'.\ Eventually it was decided, on a motion by Mr. Osenbrueo, seconded by Mr. Edwards,. "That the representative of tho Samoa Timos be requested to remain outside during the meetings of tho Municipal Council. Messrs. Osenbruog, Edwards, Grevsmuhl, and Leonard voted for tho motion, the President against. At the request of the President, Mr. Ch.'itficld left tho room.
