A NEWSPAPER DEAL
THE SUN SELLS OUT TO BE INCORPORATED IN THE “AUCKLAND STAR” Arrangements have been entered into between New Zealand Newspapers, Ltd., and The Sun Newspapers, Ltd., by which the former company has purchased the copyright, goodwill, property and plant of The Sun, Auckland, which will cease publication today as a separate newspaper. From Monday next The Sun will be incorporated in The j Auckland “Star.” Sun subscribers ; will be supplied with the Auckland | “Star,” and in the event of any hitch in delivery during the change-over, they should communicate immediately with the publisher, “Star” office. Advertising contracts have been taken over by the Auckland “Star” subject to adjustments regarding rates. The Sun Newspapers, Ltd., will continue to publish The Sun. Christchurch, which is not affected in anyway by the realisation of the com- ! pany’s assets in Auckland.
