RIDER FINED £5 From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. The sequel to a motor-cycle’s mad career along Victoria Street yesterday afternoon when several collisions were narrowly averted, occurred in the Police Court today, when the rider. Arthur William Witt, 29, was charged with riding a motor-cycle while intoxicated, and riding without a licence. Accused admitted he had been convicted for a similar offence, and his licence was cancelled at Carterton. A fine of £5 was imposed, accused prohibited, .and his driver’s licence was cancelled for 12 months.
