SAYING "HOW DO YOU DO" TO 1 TROUBLE Don't walk down the street, catch a train, and call upon trouble. When you have a pain in the side 1 don't sit up half the night worrying : because you think it might be appen- i dicitis. Take some hot water for 1 indigestion, and go to sleep. Don't say "I haven't done a thing the whole week,” when it is onlv : Tuesday, and you have until Satur- ' day to get things done. Don’t perpetually moan, "1 don't i kno w what will happen to my family j it anything should happen to me.” ! Take precautions to keep fit, and stop ' worrying. ; Don't go to work every morning i with the thought that you might get j the sack." If it threatens, the only ! thing you can use to avoid it is elbow- | grease! j Don't let foolish superstitions as- ! dime the importance which can he ! attached to concrete facts. Don't make yourself miserable by j worrying about a scratch ou the mud- i guard of the new car, or a spot on a ' new dress. There will be many more scratches on the car and spots'on the dress before you've finished with them. Don't take your neighbour's troubles ! too much to heart. This does not i mean that you should be callous of other people’s troubles, but, after all, ihey are the people to do most of the worrying, if they feel that way. When riding on a bus, in a train, j ot in a motor-coach, don't dwell upon the terrible consequences c.' a possible smash. Many people worry [rom the moment they board a vehicle to the moment they get off. Don't be too imaginative. Leave " that to those people who make a living : out of their imagination.
