PONSONBY CRICKET CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING HELD The annual meeting of the Ponsonby Cricket Club was held on Wednesday, Air. I. Clarke presiding over a good attendance. The gold medal for scoring the greatest number of runs for the season was awarded to S. G. Smith, who had 492 to his credit. Trophies for the best all-round performances in the respective grades were awarded follow; —Senior cup. N. C. Snedden; junior cup. H. AVarneford; Laidlaw Cup, J. Dale. The following officers were elected; President, Air. 1. Clarke; vice-presi-dents, same as last year, with the addition of Alessrs W. Hardley, Hintz. Patterson, J. Schiscka; delegates to Auckland Cricket Association. Alessrs. N. C. Snedden. S. G. Smith. F. Taylor; club captain. Air. H. Warneford: junior management delegate, Air. H. Warneford; selection committee, Alessrs. IT. Warneford, R. Sellars. G. Smith; management committee, Alessrs. D. Cleverly, G. J. Brown, S G. Smith, A. Clarke, R. Sellars, L Piesse, R. Sellars. N. C. Snedden; hon. auditor. Mr. F. Taylor; hon. secretary, Air. G. Lendrum; hon. treasurer. Air. N. Lendrum. The meeting expressed its appreciation of the Auckland Cricket Association's indoor cricket practice scheme.
