Special to THE SUN PUKEKOHE, Thursday. A fair yarding of dairy cattle came forward at the stock sale at Pukekohe today conducted by the Xew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Limited. Best dairy cows and lieifeis realised £ll to £ls 15s; other good cows and heifers, £9 lbs to £lO 15s; backward cows and heifeas. £7 10s to £ 9. Practically all classes of beef sold well up to late rates. Heavy fat cowand heifers brought £8 to os medium fat cows and heifers. £8 :«• £9 ss: lighter cows and heifers. £•• 15s to £7 15s: boner cows. £3 10s to £4 15s: yearling steers made £5 os. Fat pigs were penned in good number.-. Baconers realised £2 16s to £3 3s: porkers, £2 5s to £2 15s. Good stoic pigs were in keen demand, large stores making £ 2 5s to £2 13s: slips, £1 Its to £2 2s: weaners. 18s to £1 10s. A small number of fat sheep was penned. Wethers made £1 9s 9d. and hoggets t*» ”1 3s Sd.
