DUNEDIN CLUB MEMBERS AND FRIENDS SPEND HAPPY EVENING ENJOYABLE PROGRAMME Cards and dancing entertained the members and their friends who attended the sixth social evening held by the Dunedin Club in the Fountain of Friendship Lodge yesterday. During tho evening Air. Genimell sang several songs and tho Kit Kat Band played excellent dance music. Air. and Airs. j. A. flow were host and hostess. Airs. Mrs. Johnson was wearing silver laoe over cyclamen georgette. Mrs. N. Hamilton's frock was of cherry red lace and georgette. Mrs. Dodds had chosen a frock of black laoe. Mrs Allum wore a frock of turquoise blue crepe de chine and black ring velvet coatee. Airs. Wright was gowned in rose beige georgette with a shawl to tone. Airs. A. Alien chose a frock of apricot moire taffeta with a floral lame coatee. Airs. Long had on a black georgette frock and a chiffon velvet bridge coat. Airs. A very merry evening was spent at mondsville Studio last evening, when Alessrs. John Burns and Co., Ltd., held another popular staff dance. Another successful whist drive under the auspices of the Auckland Cornish Association was held in the Orient Tea Rooms, Newmarket, on Tuesday last. Tho prize-winners were as follow: Airs. Gimblet, Aliss Gimblet, Airs. Deane and Aliss Alorton, and Alessrs. Pooley, Fast and Dingle.
