DIED AT DOCTOR’S
COLLAPSE IN CONSULTING ROOM While waiting for medicai advice in the consulting rooms of Dr. G. de Clive Lowe, in Symonds Street, yesterday afternoon, Mr. Daniel Hannan, who had been living in an apartment house at 50 Vincent Street, collapsed and died. He had been complaining for some time of pains in the chest. Deceased went to the doctor’s rooms at about 2.35 p.m. yesterday, but Dr. de Clive Lowe was engaged with another patient. Mr. Hannan was shown to the waiting room, where he was found dead about a quarter of an hour later. Deceased was a single man, and had no relatives in Auckland.
An inquest is to be opened this afternoon by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.
